Adamjee Insurance Company Limited is a public limited Company incorporated in Pakistan on September 28, 1960 under the repealed Companies Act, 1913 (now the Companies Act, 2017). The Company is principally engaged in the general insurance business. The Company also operates branches in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Export Processing Zone (EPZ). The Company was granted authorization on December 23, 2015 under Rule 6 of the Takaful Rules, 2012 to undertake Window Takaful Operations in respect of general takaful products by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and commenced Window Takaful Operations on January 01, 2016.
