CapMan Oyj stands as a premier Nordic private assets management and investment firm, renowned for its hands-on approach to generating value. The company specializes in a diverse range of investment strategies, including private equity and venture capital (focusing on growth capital, industry consolidation, turnarounds, recapitalizations, and middle market buyouts), as well as credit and mezzanine financing for unlisted companies. Its portfolio also extends to value-add and income-generating real estate, and infrastructure investments across energy, transportation, and telecommunications sectors. The firm predominantly oversees closed-end funds, which strategically allocate capital to companies and assets primarily located in the Nordic countries. These funds typically realize their investments within a three to six-year timeframe through methods like trade sales and initial public offerings. CapMan also manages a selection of open-ended funds. Founded in 1989, CapMan Oyj's main office is situated in Helsinki, Finland, supplemented by branches in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, Luxembourg, and London. It has been publicly traded on Nasdaq Helsinki since 2001 and has affirmed its commitment to sustainable investing by becoming a signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) in 2012.
