Accuray Incorporated

Accuray Incorporated, established in 1990 with its headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, specializes in the development, production, and distribution of sophisticated radiosurgery and radiation therapy systems. These advanced medical devices are designed to combat tumors and are deployed across a vast international market, spanning the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, India, Africa, Japan, China, and the wider Asia Pacific region. Among its key product lines is the CyberKnife System, an advanced robotic platform utilized for stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiation therapy. This system is adept at treating a diverse range of malignant growths and tumors found throughout the body, including those affecting the prostate, lungs, brain, spine, liver, pancreas, and kidneys. Additionally, Accuray offers the TomoTherapy System, which incorporates the Radixact System – an integrated radiation therapy solution engineered to address a broad spectrum of cancer types. Beyond its core equipment, the company provides comprehensive support services to its clientele. These include ongoing post-purchase maintenance, system installation, operational training, and various other specialized professional services. Accuray employs a multi-pronged sales approach; within the United States, it primarily sells directly to healthcare institutions such as hospitals and independent treatment centers via its own sales force, augmented by sales agents and group purchasing organizations. Internationally, sales are conducted directly to clients, alongside a network of distributors and sales agents.
