PIMCO GIS Income Fund Institutional GBP (Hedged) Income

The PIMCO GIS Income Fund Institutional GBP (Hedged) Income is an investment fund that primarily seeks to generate high current income, with long-term capital appreciation as a secondary objective. The fund operates within the fixed income investment management industry, employing a global multi-sector strategy that combines PIMCO's total return investment process with income maximization. It achieves this by diversifying across a broad range of global fixed income securities, utilizing both top-down and bottom-up investment approaches. The fund also implements a barbell strategy, balancing safer assets like U.S. Treasury bonds and Agency mortgage-backed securities with higher-return bonds such as corporate bonds, bank loans, high-yield bonds, and emerging market bonds. This actively managed fund targets institutional investors seeking regular income and who are comfortable with the risks and volatility inherent in global fixed income markets, including emerging markets and non-investment grade securities, over a medium to long-term horizon. PIMCO GIS Funds are not available for sale in the United States.
