The Exploration & Production division is dedicated to discovering and extracting crude oil and natural gas. The Refining & Chemicals segment oversees refining operations, producing petrochemicals like olefins and aromatics, and various polymer derivatives such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, and hydrocarbon resins. It also engages in biomass conversion, elastomer processing, and the trading and maritime transport of crude oil and refined petroleum products. The Marketing & Services segment manufactures and distributes lubricants, and markets a broad array of petroleum products, including bulk fuels, aviation and marine fuels, specialized fluids, compressed natural gas, LPG, and bitumen, alongside offering fuel payment solutions. It operates an extensive network comprising approximately 16,000 service stations and 25,000 electric vehicle charging points worldwide. As of December 31, 2021, TotalEnergies SE held combined proven oil and gas reserves amounting to 12,062 million barrels of oil equivalent (Mboe).
