PIMCO Funds StocksPlus Fund Institutional Shares

The fund aims to generate a greater total return than the S&P 500 Index. It accomplishes this by investing in S&P 500 Index derivatives, which are supported by a collection of fixed income assets under typical market conditions. These fixed income instruments encompass bonds, debt obligations, and comparable securities issued by various U.S. and international governmental or corporate entities. The fund possesses the flexibility to allocate as much as 30% of its total holdings to securities priced in foreign currencies, and it can also invest beyond this threshold in U.S. dollar-denominated securities from foreign issuers.
