About WISeKey International Holding Ltd
Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, WISeKey International Holding AG is a global cybersecurity firm. It delivers comprehensive security solutions specifically designed for the Internet of Things (IoT) and digital identity ecosystems. The company serves a broad international clientele spanning Switzerland, the wider European region, the Middle East, Africa, North America, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. WISeKey's operations are divided into three core segments: IoT, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Managed Public Key Infrastructure (mPKI). Its offerings include specialized microcontrollers that embed unique digital identities into connected devices, alongside a robust mPKI suite. This suite features digital identity management, extensive certificate lifecycle and signing solutions, and reliable trust services, all complemented by the issuance of digital certificates. The company also provides a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) portfolio, offering cloud-based tools for certificate lifecycle management, digital signing, and authentication, in addition to standard software licenses. Further support includes post-contract customer assistance for cybersecurity applications and essential infrastructure hosting and monitoring services. Beyond these, WISeKey develops, promotes, hosts, and supports a diverse range of solutions. These enable the secure digital identification of people, digital content, and physical objects by generating digital identities through its expertise in cybersecurity, IoT, digital brand management, and mobile security. Such capabilities empower clients to enhance monetization of their existing user bases and expand their overall ecosystem. A significant proprietary technology is the ISTANA platform, crafted to manage components within intelligent vehicles by leveraging PKI-based digital identities. Additionally, the company provides Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, primarily through knowledge automation, and engages in financing, sales, and distribution activities.
