Anthem Biosciences Ltd

Anthem Biosciences Ltd. operates as a technology-driven organization specializing in contract research, development, and manufacturing (CRDMO). The company's activities are organized into two primary divisions: CRDMO services and the production of Specialty Ingredients. Through its CRDMO segment, Anthem Biosciences offers comprehensive, full-lifecycle support for both novel chemical and biological entities. This support spans the entire development pipeline, from initial target identification and concept generation, through preclinical evaluation, the creation of development batches for all three phases of clinical trials, and ultimately, commercial-scale manufacturing. Their expertise covers a wide array of advanced therapeutic areas, including RNA-based therapies, antibody-drug conjugates, peptides, oligonucleotides, lipids, biologics, and biotherapeutics. They also employ specialized processes such as fermentation, biosynthesis, biotransformation, and flow chemistry. In its Specialty Ingredients division, Anthem Biosciences manufactures and supplies intricate, fermentation-derived active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), including serratiopeptidase protease and vitamin K2. The company's portfolio also encompasses microbial and mammalian biosimilars, a diverse range of probiotics (such as various species of bacillus, lactobacillus, bifidobacterium, streptococcus, and saccharomyces boulardii), and enzymes. Additionally, they produce key peptides like semaglutide, plecanatide, linaclotide, liraglutide, and cilengitide, alongside nutritional actives, vitamin analogues, and other APIs. The company was established in Bengaluru, India, in 2006.
