About Coromandel International Ltd
Coromandel International Limited, established in 1961 and headquartered in Chennai, India, provides extensive agricultural solutions across India and globally. The company's operations are divided into two principal segments: Nutrient and Other Allied Business, and Crop Protection. Within its Nutrient division, Coromandel offers a wide spectrum of crop inputs, including various fertilizers such as complex, urea, muriate of potash, Di-ammonium phosphate (DAP), and other phosphatic compounds. The offering also extends to specialized nutrients like crop-specific and generic water-soluble grades, sulfur-based fertilizers, essential micronutrients, and organic fertilizers. For crop protection, the company supplies a range of products, including insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, bio-products, and plant growth regulators. Beyond manufacturing, Coromandel International operates approximately 750 rural retail outlets, primarily across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. These centers provide crucial services to farmers, including soil analysis, crop health diagnostics, and farm mechanization support. Previously known as Coromandel Fertilisers Ltd until its name change in September 2009, the company functions as a subsidiary of E.I.D.-Parry (India) Limited.
