About Kirloskar Industries Ltd

Kirloskar Industries Limited is an Indian enterprise primarily known for manufacturing and distributing iron castings. The company also generates and sells wind-powered electricity from its seven windmills located in Maharashtra, which collectively boast an installed capacity of 5.6 megawatts. Beyond its industrial production, it maintains a significant real estate portfolio, owning land, various buildings, and both residential and commercial properties. Kirloskar Industries is actively engaged in real estate development and makes strategic investments in properties and securities. Further diversifying its operations, it is also involved in the production of steel and seamless tubes. Founded in Pune, India, in 1978, the company operated as Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited until its name change to Kirloskar Industries Limited in March 2010.
